    • New art!  I have been looking forward to having this done for a while, wanted to share it with you! Like the other work on my body, I had it done on my arm to represent wearing my heart on my sleeve- I think it is a very important reminder to me everytime I see it to live in harmony and respect all that is around me!

  • I was just wondering--does anyone try different types of yoga at home? I have discovered Yin Yoga through Yoga Journal and now have a thriving home practice which I augment with classes. I have also begun researching some jivamukti vinyasas (mostly Iyengar). I think it is fun to try, but I always go to a class at some point to make sure I am doing it right:)

Most importantly, it breaks it down into bite-size portions ... motivation-wise, for instance, I come into practice for the first 10 minutes--a couple cards--.. then I stay another small portion .. then I make another decision to stay ... then I remember how great I feel afterwards .. by that time it's been longer than an hour ...

  • It's myyoga2go published by The Nomadic Yogi. There are 7 different sequences and it's for beginner, intermediate or advanced. They are found in a good bookstore or you could order it online. You could even use it without the shoe-tree-like card holder; the best thing about these cards is they tell you how long to hold the poses and don't impose audio or visuals that may not inspire ....
