WithinWithout, 1 day ago | FlagEating mindfully... glad you asked sironasky, I have been pondering it last night and was going to post the question today LOL My thoughts went somewhere along the lines of eating dead animals, slaughter etc... and how most people really would not want to think about it as it would just be too uncomforta ble. It is ok to pick up a sterile looking tray of meat from the supermarke t, all ready to cook, without having to give it a thought where it came from. Or Vegetables , how much water had been used to help it grow, who picked it, where and when, were there any adverse circumstan ces that might have affected the growths of the vegies? Or is eating mindfully simply expressing gratitude to have a meal? Or to think about how best to combine protein, carbs and fat? For me personally it is a combinatio n of the above, what about yourself? -
sironasky, 1 week ago | FlagHi Alex! Welcome we are happy to have you here. I am on the same path as you. My family is always working towards sustainable living. I think things are getting easier in the USA. I do spend allot of time in The UK and they have more programs going there to make it easier on their public to buy organic and locally . Plus you can grow just about anything in the temperate climate . But I do live in the USA so we do what we can here in VA. well I am ramblin on...Hope to here more from you soon! -
